THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE SOCIETY

The Executive Committee is a leadership group within the society meant to address pressing issues of the society and is mandated to transact business on behalf of the society. They are elected at an AGM from fully paid-up members and is composed of:

  1. Chairman
  2. Vice-Chairman
  3. Secretary General
  4. Organising Secretary
  5. Treasurer
  6. Patron

FUNCTIONS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

  1. The Executive Committee shall be responsible for the management of the affairs of the Society for the best interest of all the stakeholders in Rangeland management.
  2. The Executive Committee shall have the power to co-opt members to fill casual vacancies as may become necessary from time to time, and special interest position not filled by the AGM.
  3. The right to publish any material relating to the activities of the Society in the name of the Society rests solely with the Executive Committee, and should be agreed on in a meeting by all executive members.
